Rapper-turned-TV mogul 50 Cent is seeking the total destruction of archrival Sean “Diddy” Combs’ entertainment empire.
Cent is offering a hefty reward for anyone who can supply any footage from Combs’ infamous celebrity parties — often called “freak-offs — that the Bad Boy boss hosted over the past three decades.
The “In Da Club” emcee and “Power” franchise creator referred to the updated lawsuit filed by Combs’ former male producer Rodney “Lil Rod’ Jones, who claims Combs surreptitiously placed recording equipment throughout his New York home. During the parties, Jones claims in court documents, Combs allegedly filmed the debaucherous activities without the party attendees’ knowledge or consent.
50 Cent vows to hand over the reward for incriminating footage of Diddy
“Smh this is gonna be so good, what you want to bet I’m a get these tapes,” Cent said to his 31 million Instagram followers. “I’ll pay top dollar for them, you been over there? I don’t go to Puffy party’s.”
Combs’ demise began with Cassie’s civil lawsuit
Combs has been under a scorchingly hot microscope since singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura accused the music mogul of chronic domestic abuse, sexual assault, prostitution, drug abuse and sex trafficking in her civil lawsuit in November 2023. A steady succession of similar lawsuits have since been filed by former Bad Boy employees and affiliates.
The day after Ventura’s filing — in which she also claimed Combs forced her to have sex with various male prostitutes while he watched and masturbated — the mogul settled the suit. The hastiness with which Combs handed Ventura a multimillion-dollar settlement convicted him in the court of public opinion. It also attracted the attention of local and federal investigators, eventually leading to the raid on his palatial estates in Los Angeles and Miami in March 2024.
Cent addressed the debauched Diddy parties during an undated concert in which he eschewed attending.
“Nuh uh,” he said. “That n—- hug you from the front and the back at the same time? F— you talkin’ ’bout? I mean, if you into that, you into that. I’m fine with it. I’m just saying this ain’t my motherf—ing’ kind of party. I’m uncomfortable. I think I belong in the girl’s bathroom.”
