Bronny James will not be entering the 2024 NBA Draft.
Instead, the son of living legend LeBron James Sr. will reportedly enter the transfer portal, according to New York Daily News reporter Dick Weiss.
LeBron, just wrapping up a victory over the Washington Wizards, did not confirm nor deny the report.
LeBron discusses his son, Bronny James
“I don’t know where it came from, but at the end of the day, Bronny’s his own man, and he has some tough decisions to make. When he’s ready to make those decisions he’ll let us all know, but as his family, we’re going to support whatever he does,” the Los Angeles Lakers star said.

Bronny spent his truncated season recovering from a life-threatening cardiac arrest episode on the practice floor at the University of Southern California. After sitting out a portion of the season, he spent the remainder of the season mostly coming off the bench for the Trojans.
Sports pundits and fans criticized his paltry numbers of 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists across 25 games, including six starts. However, conventional wisdom states that the USC staff put Bronny on minutes restrictions and closely monitored his health.
LeBron James wants to replicate the feat Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr. accomplished
No one outside the James household knows how much this impacts LeBron’s dream of playing professionally alongside his eldest son. He once mentioned his favorite non-basketball athlete was Ken Griffey Jr., a fellow Ohio native who played major league baseball with his father, Ken Griffey Sr., in the early 1990s.
