Tennis superstar Coco Gauff was ecstatic when an unknown fan found an old photo showing her watching her idol, the legendary Venus Williams, playing in a tournament.
In the photo, Cori “Coco” Gauff was just 8 years old when she sat courtside in Arthur Ashe Stadium to watch Venus Williams battle against Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
Gauff, 20, who is now ranked No. 3 in the world, used the photo as an opportunity to impart a lesson to young people.
Coco Gauff exclaimed to fans that this is proof that dreams do come true
“If this isn’t proof that your dreams are closer than you think, then idk [I don’t know] what is,” Gauff wrote on X after reposting the fortuitous finding.
