Latto felt compelled to gather some fans who called her father a pedophile.
The accusation stems from a photo the rapper posted for her 19 million Instagram fans showing her then-15-year-old mother, Mitsi Pitts, holding Latto as an infant in their original hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
Fans reflexively, and perhaps wrongly, responded to an X post asserting that Latto’s mother was only 14 years old when she became pregnant by a 23-year-old college male. Pitts then welcomed Latto (Alyssa Michelle Stephens) into the world at age 15.
Latto shared a photo of her as an infant being held by her mother with a caption that said, “My mama 15yr old fast a** w me.”

Some ardent Latto backers discerned the defamatory conversation stemming from the aforementioned X post and quickly shot down the alleged lies.

A few hours after the conversation began building momentum, Latto personally addressed the matter of her parents’ ages — and even laughed off the serious allegation.
