Kanye West is the latest to join the legion of iconic rappers who have gotten immersed in hip-hop’s dizzying succession of beefs.
Ye, 46, put Drake and J. Cole in his sights by dropping a remix of the diss track that Future and Kendrick Lamar recently released called “Like That.”
The College Dropout rapper released the scathing song “Like That (Remix)” on an episode of Justin Laboy’s podcast “The Download.” He posted the reveal for his 20 million Instagram followers on Saturday, April 20.
The lyrics contained within the track are unmistakably NSFW.
“Y’all so outta sight, outta mind / Can’t even think of a Drake line / Play J. Cole get the p—y dry / Play this s— back 130 times.”

Not long after releasing the song, Ye took to social media to double down on his stance on J. Cole with an NSFW post — and to let folks know that he is not finished with the topic.

Ye’s attack may be a response to J. Cole’s alleged 2016 diss track “False Prophets,” where Cole said the following:
“When he tell us he a genius but it’s clearer lately, It’s been hard for him to look into the mirror lately, There was a time when this nigga was my hero maybe, That’s the reason why his fall from grace is hard to take, ’Cause I believed him when he said his s— was purer and he the type of n—- swear he real but all around is fake. The women, the d—riders, you know, the yes men, Nobody with the balls to say something to contest him, So it grows out of control, Until the person that he truly was all along is starting to show.”
Drake and J. Cole have yet to respond to Ye’s lyrical smackdown.
