Kendrick Lamar has set a new standard for concert performances with his latest show, The Pop Out. The highlight of the night? Lamar performed his Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” an astonishing six times, leaving fans in a frenzy.

The evening kicked off with West Coast legend Dr. Dre introducing the song, setting the stage for what would become the most hyped track of the night. Produced by DJ Mustard, “Not Like Us” has become a cultural phenomenon, inspiring dances, parodies, and more. It was only fitting for Lamar to keep the energy high by running it back multiple times.

Each rendition hit harder than the last, with thousands of fans passionately chanting the controversial lyrics. By the end of the night, it felt like the entire West Coast was onstage, as Lamar closed out with yet another round of “Not Like Us.”

A historic event

Lamar took a moment to reflect on the significance of the event, stating, “We been f—ed up since Nipsey died. We been f—ed up since Kobe died.” He praised the unity of the crowd, who came together peacefully for the historic Juneteenth concert. To cap it off, he played “Not Like Us” two more times, solidifying the track’s impact.

The night was filled with other historic moments, including a surprise Black Hippy reunion, YG performing a medley of hits, and performances from Tyler, the Creator and Steve Lacey. It was a night to remember, showcasing the best of hip-hop and the power of music to bring people together.
