Rap mogul-turned-TV producer 50 Cent mocked his longtime rival Irv Gotti after a photo was released showing the Murder Inc. boss walking with a cane.
Gotti, 54, suffered a stroke back in the spring of 2024, and his camp managed to keep it under wraps for months.
Renowned music manager Wack 100 revealed on the Clubhouse app this week that Gotti was on the mend. He also showed a photo of the music boss, who appears to have lost a lot of weight in the ensuing months.
Curtis Jackson III, 49, torched Gotti before his 33 million Instagram followers on Wednesday night, Aug. 28, using lyrics from his classic cut of 20 years ago, “Wanksta.”
“D— homie, in high school, you were the man homie; WTF happened to you? Want Irv to get well so he can have to watch my next wave LOL,” Fifty penned.
The entertainment publication stated that the minor stroke was brought on by complications from Gotti’s diabetes, which he has had for years.
“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy,” one of his representatives told TMZ. “He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”
