Bobby Brown has sent his “love and blessings” to the grieving family of Whitney Houston’s late mother.

The singer had a famously rough relationship with his ex-wife Whitney’s mom Cissy, who died on Oct. 7 at 91 after getting hospice care amid her Alzheimer’s battle.

“Sending love and blessings to the Houston family on this great loss. May she rest in peace and power. The Browns,” the “My Prerogative” hitmaker said in a joint statement with his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown about Cissy’s death.

Bobby and Whitney first met in 1989 before they married in July 1992. Brown was accused of verbally and physically abusing Whitney during their stormy 14-year marriage.

Brown and Whitney had daughter Bobbi Kristina. She died from lobar pneumonia at 22 in 2015 after she was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home after ingesting numerous drugs and alcohol — similar to the fate of her mother, who accidentally drowned in a hotel bathtub at 48 in 2012 after years of drug abuse. Bobbi was in a coma for nearly six months before she passed away.

Brown was arrested for charges related to drunk driving and possession during his marriage to Whitney. The “I Will Always Love You” singer sought treatment in rehab several times while they were together before they divorced in 2007.

A toxicology report on Whitney found both prescription medications and cocaine in her system.

Cissy remained fiercely protective of Whitney through her marital and drug strife and repeatedly tried to save her from drug addiction.
