R&B legend Bobby Brown is, unfortunately, no stranger to pain and premature losses.

The “Every Little Step” singer admits it has been very difficult dealing with the loss of one child, much less two, but that the angels keep watch over him.

While hosting the fourth annual “Bobbi Kristina Serenity House Gala: A Night of Inspiration, Empowerment, and Hope” in Los Angeles, the New Edition singer expressed how grateful he is to be able to honor his late daughter Bobbi Kristina. She passed away in 2015 in an eerily similar fashion to her mother, Whitney Houston, who drowned in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills in 2012.

“She’s always on my heart,” says Brown. “She’s always on my mind, and just to help others in her honor really helps me, it’s therapeutic somewhat to me.”

Brown also recalled following up on the unbearable losses of Houston and their daughter by learning of the passing of his first-born, Bobby Brown Jr.

Bobby Brown said his son’s and daughter’s angels comfort him

Like angels hovering above, Brown is comforted when both his children visit him frequently while he sleeps.

“That’s a reoccurring thing that goes on when I’m asleep,” Brown says. “I tend to dream about both of ‘em, my son and my daughter, which is helpful for me. Just being able to see their faces and I see ‘em smiling, it helps me out in a big way.”
