Ravi Cabot-Conyers hints at impending dangers on ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’

Not even longtime Stars Wars fans are having as much with the TV series “Skeleton Crew” as Ravi Cabot-Conyers is.

Cabot-Conyers’s face lights up like Christmas bulbs as he regales fans about the many adventures, and misadventures, his character Wim is experiencing on the enthralling series streaming on Disney+. 


“Thank you! It’s so, so much fun. It gets so intense,” Cabot-Conyers exclaimed after rolling out informed him how enjoyable the series has been.

“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” revolves around two friends who imprudently stumble onto a hidden portal that, after entering it, transports them from their safe planet to a vast and unfamiliar Star Wars galaxy. There, they and their two other friends feverishly try to navigate their way out of a post-apocalyptic world filled with the type of creatures that dazzled older generations of fans of the original blockbuster trilogy [Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi].

Wim has to oscillate from feelings of guilt — that he got his friend into this situation — to anxiety and angst as the quartet tries to find their way back to the safety of their homeland.

“You know, we’re Wim’s definitely feeling some remorse because he is pretty much the reason that this all went down,” Cabot-Conyers explained to rolling out. “[Skeleton Crew] gets more intense from here, you know, with so many friendships, you know, growth with Captain Fern. You know, a lot goes down. It’s really exciting, and it gets even more dangerous and more plunderous from here.”

‘Skeleton Crew’ promises more dangers and adventures

Cabot-Conyers explained the thrill of interacting with strangely configured aliens, some of whom were allies while others were trying to impede their road home.

“Honestly, even, even more danger, and how Wim is not ready to go home? Definitely not, you know, not, not at all. At first it was like, ‘Okay, we got to get home.’ But now it’s like, ‘I can kind of get used to this.’ No, no, but it was, um, yeah, no. The definitely more danger,” Cabot-Conyers promises.

“The stakes get so much higher than they already are. It’s crazy how high the stakes are now. But when you see the later episodes, it gets crazy. You know, it gets it really does get intense. And so many friendships evolve, and, you know, relationships and it all, it just gets so much more exciting. The story and the stakes just get elevated.”
