TikTok has been named an official partner of the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2025. The social media platform will launch several exclusive in-app features as part of the collaboration for this year’s ceremony, which takes place at London’s Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Centre on February 16.
TikTok will launch a dedicated #WhatToWatch hub as well as a BAFTA Search Hub, which will contain “all the official BAFTA content” plus videos from the “film-loving TikTok community around the prestigious awards”.
The platform is also introducing the TikTok Film Club, which is an accelerator programme inviting creators to produce content inspired by this year’s BAFTA nominations with a chance to win tickets to the ceremony.
Jack Remmington and Ash Holme have also been confirmed as interviewers and TikTok’s official red carpet hosts.
Melissa McFarlane, Head of Operations for UK, Ireland, and Nordics at TikTok, said: “This partnership cements TikTok’s place as the home of entertainment, connecting our community with the magic of the EE BAFTA Film Awards like never before.
“BAFTA represents the pinnacle of creative excellence, we’re excited to help our creators and publishers highlight the incredible talent being recognized.
“It’s transforming how audiences discover and engage with the art of film.”
And Paul MacMahon, Head of Digital Content at BAFTA, added: “This year we’re thrilled to be partnering with TikTok, alongside some of their top creators and publishers, to enable deeper connections with film and entertainment fans on our fastest-growing platform.”
