Vivica A. Fox wanted her new clothing line to be both “affordable” and “inclusive”. The veteran actress brings her decades of red carpet experience to this new fashion venture, aiming to make glamour accessible to all.

The ‘Independence Day’ star has teamed up with HSN – previously known as the Home Shopping Network – to create a capsule collection which currently features eight pieces which range in price from $49 to $69 and come in sizes XS to 3XL – and Vivica admits she wanted the clothes to appeal to everyone. The partnership marks Fox’s first major foray into fashion design, following her successful career in entertainment.

She told WWD: “It was very important to me to make the line affordable for our girls to feel good. We also are inclusive. We go from size XS to 3X.” The actress emphasized that her experience in Hollywood helped her understand the importance of making women feel confident in their clothes, regardless of size or budget.

“It’s definitely for the grown and sexy woman, but if a girl a little bit younger wants to rock it, they can too. We try to stay current and chic.” Fox’s vision for the line draws inspiration from her own versatile wardrobe, which has graced numerous red carpets and casual events alike.

The collection includes a three-piece suit, a red ruche dress and a monogram shirt. The pieces were carefully selected to create a capsule wardrobe that can be mixed and matched for various occasions, from office wear to evening events.

The actress added of the range: “It is totally based on my sense of style. We’ve got cute tops that are coming out, a suit collection that’s a three-piece suit that we all designed together with track stripes down the side and on the trim of the top.” The suit design particularly reflects Fox‘s understanding of power dressing, gained from her years in the entertainment industry.

“We designed this beautiful ruche dress that we hope will go over well for Valentine’s Day because I come out a week before Valentine’s Day.” The dress features flattering ruching details that Fox personally tested to ensure it complements various body types.

The collection launched on Thursday (30.01.25) and Vivica hopes fashion fans will love the range’s flexibility. The pieces were designed with the modern woman’s busy lifestyle in mind, transitioning seamlessly from day to evening wear.

She said: “What I do love about the collection is it’s easy to go from day to night time. You can wear the top and the slacks by themselves, and if it gets a little crisp outside, you put on the jacket, and boom, you’re ready to go to dinner, and you put on a pair of heels … and work it.” This versatility was a key consideration in the design process.

Each piece in the collection underwent extensive fitting sessions with models of various sizes to ensure consistent quality and fit across the size range. The fabrics were selected for their durability and comfort, with special attention paid to maintaining shape and color through multiple washes.

The HSN partnership allows Fox to reach a broad audience through both television and digital platforms, making the collection easily accessible to shoppers nationwide. The network’s interactive shopping experience enables customers to see the clothes in motion and hear Fox’s personal styling tips for each piece.

Additional pieces are already in development for future releases, with Fox hinting at seasonal collections that will expand on the current offerings. The actress has emphasized her commitment to maintaining the line’s affordable price point while introducing new designs and fabrics.

The collection represents a personal milestone for Fox, who has long wanted to create fashion that empowers women of all backgrounds. Her hands-on approach to the design process, from fabric selection to fit testing, reflects her dedication to creating pieces that live up to her vision of accessible luxury.
