Kris Jenner has announced the sale of her Hidden Hills mansion. The property has been a cornerstone of reality television history, appearing in over 200 episodes of various Kardashian-Jenner family shows and hosting countless celebrity gatherings.

The 69-year-old media mogul made her name as the Kardashian clan’s self-styled “momager” in the property as it served as a primary filming location for their ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ show, but she is now listing the cavernous six-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate for $13.5 million. Real estate experts note that luxury property values in Hidden Hills have increased by 300% since 2010, making this listing particularly attractive to potential investors.

There is an option to purchase it fully furnished for an additional $400,000, according to the New York Times. The furnishings include rare pieces from exclusive European designers and custom-made furniture valued at over $2 million, with several pieces being one-of-a-kind collector’s items.

“I’ve shared so many unforgettable memories in this incredible home with my family, and I’m excited to see it start a new chapter with its next owners,” Kris told the newspaper in a statement. The mansion has been the backdrop for numerous family celebrations, business meetings, and pivotal moments in reality TV history.

But the house in California is not to be confused with the separate property used for exterior shots of the Kardashians’ reality show. That property, located in Studio City, has become a tourist attraction, drawing hundreds of visitors annually and requiring additional security measures.

Kris and her former spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, 75, bought the home for $4 million in 2010, three years after ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘ premiered. The purchase price was considered competitive for the area at the time, with similar properties selling for around $5 million. The property’s value has more than tripled since their initial investment.

It became a focal point of the series, with Kris’ daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner living there as teenagers, while Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Rob Kardashian frequently visited after moving out. The property has served as the backdrop for numerous family milestones, including holiday celebrations, business launches, and personal announcements that captured public attention.

Before listing the house, Kris worked with celebrity interior designer Ryan Saghian to replace most of the furnishings with pieces from European luxury wholesaler Eichholtz. Saghian’s redesign focused on creating a modern yet timeless aesthetic that would appeal to luxury buyers while maintaining the home’s iconic status.

The Christie’s listing for the home describes the property as “the epitome of luxury and elegance”, highlighting its Mediterranean design and distinctive black-and-white checkerboard floor in the grand entrance hall. This signature flooring has become one of the most recognizable features of the home, featured in countless social media posts and television scenes.

Photographs by Wayne Ford showcase the estate’s expansive grounds, which include a swimming pool, hot tub, and entertainment cabana equipped with a fireplace and television. The outdoor space has hosted numerous high-profile events and family gatherings, making it one of the most photographed private residences in Hidden Hills.

The primary suite, once used by Kris, features a private gym, spa-like bath, wet bar, and walk-out balcony overlooking 1.55 acres of land. The suite has been featured in multiple magazine spreads and is considered one of the most luxurious primary bedrooms in the area.

Residents of the guard-gated community have access to a swim club, tennis courts and a barbecue centre. The exclusive Hidden Hills community is known for its privacy and security, making it a preferred location for celebrities and high-net-worth individuals.

“Live like a star in this legendary estate where timeless elegance meets Hollywood prestige,” the listing states. Real estate experts predict the property’s unique combination of luxury amenities and celebrity provenance could result in a quick sale, possibly even above the asking price.

The sale of this iconic property marks the end of an era in reality television history, as the mansion has played a crucial role in shaping the Kardashian-Jenner family’s public image and success. Industry analysts suggest that the property’s connection to one of television’s most famous families could add significant value to its final selling price.
