The 43-year-old Oakland, Calif., native was pummeled so badly by fans for the bizarre-looking outfit, replete with “adult-diaper” looking shorts, that Cole had to fire back to her 7.4 million Instagram followers in defense of her honor.

While Cole admits the windbreaking shorts didn’t give off the look she wanted — admitting that they looked “diaper-ish” — she hurled profanities at her critics and said she liked the shorts-set.
Cole vindicated herself on Monday with a titillating photo of herself rocking a tiny denim two-piece style bikini that appeared to be holding on for dear life.
Fans overwhelmingly approve of her bikini outfit
Suddenly, the memory of Cole outfitted in what some fans called Depends pull ups had evaporated immediately in favor of the provocative bikini. It was as if Cole wanted to remind pop culture of her snatched body.
One fan approved, saying, “She rocking that denim,” while another user wrote, “Good lawd.”
A third fan added, “Yep that’s denim alright,” while a fourth exclaimed, “And she still fine af at 43.”
Fifth and sixth users testified that she “still looks good” and “Sheeeeshh she still look good!”
Another user proclaimed that Cole has “legend status.”
