ATL pulled up and showed out this past Friday as the High Museum of Art transformed into the city’s most elevated vibe session. Every first Friday of the month, the museum trades in its usual quiet reverence for a pulsing art party where culture, connection, and creativity take center stage—and this month’s edition was no exception.
Presented in collaboration with Next Level Events, the evening was a full-spectrum experience that blurred the lines between the gallery and the dance floor. The DJ lineup was stacked. DJ Kemit and Salah Ananse brought the come-together energy with deep grooves and global beats that moved the crowd like brush strokes on a canvas. And when DJ Pure Love stepped in, it was nothing but pure elevation—blending house, soul, and Afro rhythms with ease.
As the music flowed from one gallery to the next, so did the crowd. Guests sipped curated cocktails while drifting through exhibitions like “Ryoji Ikeda: data-verse,” a mind-bending fusion of light, sound, and science that felt like stepping into the soul of a supercomputer. It wasn’t just visual—it was vibrational.
First Fridays at the High have officially become the city’s best-kept open secret. It is where art lovers, music heads, and fashion-forward free spirits collide. Whether you came to dance, sip, explore, or just to be seen, The High served high energy and aesthetics all night.
Put the next First Friday on your radar. Art’s never been this alive—and neither has Atlanta.
