After two weeks of contentious testimonies and cross examinations, replete with dramatic introduction of evidence and emotional rollercoaster rides, the state rested their case on Friday and the defense will now present its case.

George Zimmerman is contending that he is innocent of second-degree murder charges in the admitted shooting death of teen Trayvon Martin inside a gated community in Sanford, Fla. in February 2012, claiming that he had to administer deadly force in order to prevent grievous bodily harm or death.
