Notorious Cleveland captor Ariel Castro, 53, accepted a plea agreement, sparing his three victims – Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry – from having to testify in court. The 937 charges include aggravated murder, kidnapping and rape related to the abduction of the three young women who vanished between 2002 and 2004, and were held captive in his home.

“You understand you will be in prison for life?” Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Michael Russo asked Castro on Friday, July 26. “You don’t even have the hope or expectation that you will be getting out.”

“I understand that your honor,” Castro replied. “My addiction to pornography and my sexual problem has really taken a toll on my mind.”

The deal is for a life sentence, plus a thousand years. His sentencing is set for a later date.

The ladies can continue with their healing.

For those who have a fascination with pornography, let this be your cautionary tale.
