According to a prominent African American magazine, they’re all “young, black and amazing.” Essence magazine has released their “35 under 35: Young Black and Amazing” list chronicling the most awe-inspiring women in fields of athletics, social activism, entertainment and fashion.”They exude class, celebrate intelligence, break down barriers and in a generation of “anything goes, they walk in their purpose,” writes the magazine about the lucky ladies. Included in the list is a platinum-selling singer whose new hairstyle virtually caused an uproar, a preteen embarking on a singing career like her famed parents, and a tennis duo known for slamming down blockades with their tennis rackets and talent.
