As most of you know by now, infamous malcontent Chris Brown was booted from an anger management rehabilitation facility this month after hurling a rock through his own mother’s car window during a family session, his probation officer reported Wednesday. This came after Breezy’s mom tried to persuade the talented but immensely troubled singer to remain for an extended time at the institution.

This represents the latest in a series of violent outbursts that has Brown dangling perilously close to an extended prison sentence, stemming from the beating of ex-girlfriend Rihanna more than four years ago.

The judge overseeing Brown’s probation in that Rihanna case ordered the singer to immediately enter another rehab program and remain for three months.

Brown was arrested on an assault charge in Washington, D.C., last month, still faces a possibly probation violation charge that could send him to prison for four years.

“There is much concern with the probationer’s new arrest and his violent outburst that resulted in his discharge from a treatment facility,” the probation report said.

The singer sat nervously in a Los Angeles County courtroom, holding girlfriend Karrueche Tran’s hand as he waited while his lawyer, Mark Geragos, met privately with the judge and prosecutor before his hearing began Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Breezy’s mom, Joyce Hawkins, spoke out in defense of her son. See what she had to say:
