Cynthia Bailey’s medical condition
The mystery illness currently plaguing “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey, who denied pregnancy reports, has been revealed. Bailey, 46, previously shot down rumors that she was pregnant with her second child after fans noticed her looking significantly rounder in the midsection.
“Thanks for all the congrats! However, I am not pregnant,” said Bailey after pregnancy news began to run rampant.
“I am dealing with a medical condition that makes me look pregnant. Stay tuned,” she added.
Now according to The National Enquirer, Bailey’s illness has been confirmed as uterine fibroid tumors. According to the mag, Bailey will document her surgery on the next season of “Real Housewives.”
“Cynthia agreed to share her health crisis on the show because she wants other women to see what she goes through and be reminded that they need to get regular checkups,” a family friend revealed.
“She didn’t go to the doctor because she was working too much. But when her stomach started to grow, and she knew she wasn’t pregnant, she went to the doctor in a panic, wondering if she had cancer,” they added.
Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas, will also reportedly be shown supporting her through the surgery.
