V-103 Atlanta announces new shakeups
V-103 Atlanta has announced the departures of three hosts; Egypt Sherrod, Kendra G and Crash Clark. G and Clark were co-hosts of the “Ryan Cameron Morning Show” while Sherrod helmed the midday time slot.
After joining the station in March of 2013, Egypt will not renew her contract with V-103 in March of 2014. Monday was her last day on-air in Atlanta.
“I relocated with my family to Atlanta in 2011 to join the V-103 family and I instantly fell in love with the warmth of the people of Atlanta, and the city I now call home,” wrote Sherrod in a statement.
“However, after much consideration I have decided that the time is right for me to take a break from the station while I look to focus on a number of upcoming multimedia business opportunities. Have no fear; I have 19 years of my life invested in radio, and I have no plans of walking away from it permanently. I am very excited about the dynamic year ahead I have in store.”
Kendra G and Crash Clark have not commented on their dismissal from the station. G joined V-103 in June of 2013 after years of working at Hot 107.9 Philly.
Clark has been a part of the “Ryan Cameron Morning Show” since 2012.
Mo Ivory, a lawyer-turned-on-air personality for the station, will continue to work alongside Ryan Cameron.
News of the latest departures from V-103 come a year after the station parted ways with morning hosts Frank Ski and Wanda Smith in December of 2012.
