Ever since Kandi Burruss made her debut on “The Real Housewives of Atanta,” the R&B songstress has had to endure unending rumors concerning the men in her life, and that has continued with her new fiancé, Todd Tucker, who’s been accused of taking things too fast with Burruss and trying to take her for her money. But Burruss seems to have had enough of the rumors and has refuted all claims of any gold digging.
During a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine, Burruss addressed the gold digging claims and denied that Tucker was after her money or fame.
“I heard different people like Wendy Williams trying to say he was an opportunist, but I was trying to figure out, ‘What does she mean by that?’ Todd makes good money doing what he does, and he also has a lot of different business ventures going on outside of that. And he did not want to be on TV or anything,” said Burruss.
Burruss also discussed the rumors that plagued her relationship with her late ex-fiancé, A.J. Jewell, and assured that he wasn’t after her money, either.
“I think, for AJ, it was more about if people can’t figure out how you make your money, then they always try to say, ‘Oh, you must not have any.’ But you can clearly see that Todd is working. He does well, so no need to question it,” said Burruss.
