The Frame-Up

Choosing the right frame that complements your facial features and doesn’t distract from them is key. They must sit perfectly on your face and the style, material and color of the frames will be able to give you an idea of what kind of makeup you should use.

Essential Eye Candy

Lucky for you, you are free to pile on the mascara with two to three coats to really give your eyes some life! Always use black mascara, it makes the biggest difference in making your eyes appear bigger. Eyeliner is your friend … and with a steady hand you’ll be applying it like a pro in no time. If your frames are thicker, apply a thicker line to the upper lash line so your eyes stand out. Use a softer liner if your frames are thinner.

Keep It Neutral

Wearing glasses already draws plenty of attention to your eyes, which means less is definitely more and it’s best to keep your makeup simple. Wear concealer under your eyes to brighten them up and leave the pops of color for your lips or cheeks. Neutral shades with a darker color in your crease is flattering for extra definition.

Go High-Brow

You already know that your brows play a major role in defining your face … and glasses will make them stand out even more. Master being able to shape and define your brows yourself, after getting them professionally done.

Your Rx Plays a Part

If your prescription makes your eyes look smaller, be sure to line your upper and lower eyelids using a liner that is darker than your natural eye color. Use two to three coasts of mascara, and voilà: your peepers will pop. If your prescription makes your eyes look bigger, use a light hand when applying your eye makeup and blend everything carefully. Keep your liner thin and only use one coat of mascara.
