Lil Scrappy’s financial issues seemed to be snowballing during the first season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” but now it appears that things from have gone from bad to worse as new reports surface that Scrappy’s checks are now being garnished over his debt.
According to TMZ, Scrappy was supposed to pay $72,218.68 to a concert booking company called Heavy Rotation back in 2010 after he lost a court battle with them in Georgia.
However, Heavy Rotation claims that Scrappy never paid, and now the interest and attorney’s fees have brought the debt’s sum to a whopping $108,510.38.
Heavy Rotation requested that a portion of Scrappy’s reality TV checks be given to them first to pay off his debt, and a Georgia court recently issued the order.
Well, lucky for Scrappy, it looks like “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has many more seasons to go thanks to its millions of drama-loving fans, so we’re sure he’ll pay off the debt eventually. Check out some other reality TV stars with financial woes below. –nicholas robinson
