Sex sells. That is a longtime American mantra. For some, going naked or nearly nude has earned the subject millions and international fame, such as Vida Guero and a brunette bubblehead by the name of Kim Kardashian. But for the following celebrity women, selling their naked images to magazines did not earn them any additional cachet, nor did it do much to resurrect their careers.
The women on the following pages are a cautionary tale that taking your clothes off for public consumption should be done very carefully and strategically.
