‘X-Men’ producer John Palermo calls Kanye West N-word

John Palermo went on a racist rant on his Facebook page. Palermo, a producer of X-Men, made disparaging comments about Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Anderson Cooper and Julie Chen.

When Palmermo discovered that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian bought a mansion in Bel-Air, he wrote “There goes the neighborhood! It looks like a Poor Persian Palace. #MoneyCantBuyADumbN—aClass.”

Along with calling Kanye West the N-word, he also targeted Anderson Cooper for attending the opening of his boyfriend’s gay bar. Palermo wrote, “#SmellsLikeLubeAndHIV.”

Similar to most celebrities who write things on social media, Palermo deleted his Facebook page shortly after the incident. Palermo attempted to deflect from his own words by pointing out the racism in Hollywood. He said, “Maybe people [who take offense] will look in the mirror and say, ‘When was the last time I called Leslie Moonves [CEO of CBS] and asked for an African-American to play opposite of me?”

Palermo, who produced X-Men and Drive, says that he is taking a sabbatical from Hollywood projects.
