“Maybe I can make a difference and have [them] say ‘man he took this reality TV s– to another level,” said Vawn. ” I’m praying that that’s what I can do.”

He also dished on his forthcoming self-help book titled The Manual.

“What we’re missing in our kids is teaching them how to love themselves. In this book I come up with something that’s called the GPS — the Guided Personal System that’s tailor-made for you,” said the reality star about his tome.

A self-described Southern belle with the heart of a gypsy, cast member Africa also chatted with rolling out about her casting.

“You’re never really ready [for reality TV],” said Africa. “You’re not ready for your life to play out and for somebody to sit there while you’re crying or angry, sometimes by the end of it you kind of get use to it but it’s hard to forget that the cameras are there. For me it was a way to creatively turn myself inside out,” she added.

“I am a real brown girl,” said Africa. “I wrap my hair up at night. I love to listen to Future but I do love some NPR. I think it’s time to have a different version of a brown girl on TV,” she added.

“The New Atlanta” premieres Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.
