Rihanna Gets 17th Tattoo
Rihanna has long been known for her penchant for body modification, so it’s no surprise that the songstress is showing off yet another tattoo. Rihanna, 24, took to Twitter this weekend to debut her latest ink; a falcon on her right foot. The picture quickly circled on Twitter and other social networks with confused fans asking for an explanation behind its meaning. “Falcon: A light that shines in the darkness!” wrote the songstress. “Never closes their eyes when sleep.”
The tattoo is said to be her 17th. In addition to the falcon, Rihanna made headlines in January when she debuted the words ‘Thug Life’ tattooed across her knuckles in pink ink. “All eyes on Rih, betta picture me rollin’ #THUGLIFE”, Rihanna put as a caption.
The homage to rapper Tupac was quickly criticized however leading the singer to post on Twitter; “Chill babes #noshade. Err’body has an opinion, but yall know what yall can do with them!!! #THUGLIFE.”
