Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) is having a very bad day. He arrives home to find his house ransacked and his wife missing. A disembodied voice calls his cellphone and orders him to steal a car and complete several tasks to get his wife back, including picking up The Kid (Selena Gomez) and nabbing a package from a bank. If he fails to follow the instructions he’s given, his wife dies. It turns out the car belongs to the girl. And that’s just the beginning of the mystery. But Magna is not taking it on the chin, he promises the aforementioned voice, “First I’m coming for my wife, then I’m coming for you.”
