The drama continues for troubled R&B singer Chris Brown as he awaits trial for the latest assault charge he picked up in the nation’s capital just months ago.
After a five-day trek across the nation via the U.S. Marshals from his jail cell in Los Angeles, Calif. to a D.C. courthouse for pre-trial hearings, TMZ reports that Brown has now been moved to a Virginia correctional facility.
“Brown has been placed in limited general population with no restrictions — meaning he gets to enjoy all the amenities of the facility, including:
– Daily showers
– TV
– Library
– Telephone
– Exercise
– Meals in the cafeteria
It beats L.A. jail by a country mile … where he was locked down in solitary 23 hours a day.”
While Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, has maintained that the star is not receiving any special treatment, his camp may have other concerns as Brown’s safety could very well be at risk when he is forced to circulate among the other inmates.
