D. Woods claims Danity Kane didn’t invite her back in the group

Ever since Bad Boy’s former super girl group Danity Kane decided to reunite earlier this year, fans have been wondering why D. Woods, one of the group’s standout members, didn’t return to the group. Now, Woods is saying that she would have returned but the rest of the members didn’t invite her back for the reunion.

According to TMZ, Woods wasn’t the first, second or even tenth person to learn that her old group was reuniting. In fact, she claims that she found out at the same time that the rest of the world did when TMZ first published the story of the reunion back in May.

Woods says that after their breakup five years ago, she tried to reunite the group on several occasions but was always met with resistance from some of the other members.

Woods says that she’s not sure why the others didn’t want her to be a part of the group, but she claims that she’s still happy that they’re continuing with “the sound that I helped them create.”

Contrary to Woods’ claim, the reunited members of Danity Kane have previously said that they invited Woods back for the reunion but say that she turned them down to focus on her own career. Back in August, Woods herself claimed that she was too busy to continue on with the group.

“Much love to DK!! They have decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on,” she said.

“For the past few of years, myself and the other DK members have been working on other projects individually, such as music, film, television, theater and philanthropy and I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year,” she added.

However, she did claim that she’s like to reunite with them one day if she got the chance.

“If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely be open to recording and/or performing with Danity Kane again,” said Woods.

We’re not sure what’s happened behind the scenes or why Woods’ story seems to have changed, at least to a certain degree, but we expect to hear a response from Danity Kane in the near future.
