Despite reports in early May that veteran hip-hop star, Foxy Brown was allegedly planning to expose long-hidden “truths” about her one-time associate Jay-Z. Foxy has come forth to deny that she ever made any such claims. Among the dirt Foxy was allegedly dishing were rumors that Jay-Z had given her an STD in their younger days and that he spent lavishly on her early in their careers and that he had an affinity for transgender lovers.
But Foxy Brown has issued a statement to TMZ stating unequivocally that the entire story was fabricated and that she would never slander Jay.
“The atrociousness of this story sickened me to my stomach. Any and everyone involved will be contacted by my attorney,” the Brooklyn, N.Y., native said via statement.
“In all my years in the music industry, these are the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations I’ve ever experienced,” she continued. “This fictitious story … with no audio, visual or written interview, clearly was concocted with malicious intent.”
She went on to state that, despite having not collaborated in recent years, she and Jay have a wonderful relationship–as does she and his superstar wife, Beyoncé.
“Jay has only been wonderful to me and my family, a great friend throughout all the years I’ve known him and we had nothing but great success as a team,” she added. “Beyoncé, his wife, has always been gracious and sweet to me.”
“I will not let any undercover hater create discord and disrespect my name and reputation,” Foxy says.
