Jeezy is once again a free man.
Late Thursday night (August 28), the “Seen It All” rapper posted his $1 million bail after being arrested earlier in the week on gun charges.
According to Steve “Steve-O” Carless, A&R president of Jeezy’s CTE Records, the rapper posted bail not only for himself, but for five associates arrested along with him. Carless promises an official statement from Jeezy will be released soon.
Jeezy was arrested and detained in Irvine, CA while on the Under The Influence tour when an AK-47 was found on his tour bus during a search. Police are still trying to figure out if there is a connection between the rifle found on Jeezy’s bus and the death of a man at the tour’s previous stop. On Tuesday, August 26, Jeezy pleaded not guilty to illiegal possession of an assault weapon and is scheduled to be back in court on Friday, September 5.
Meanwhile, the rapper’s fifth studio album is set to drop on Tuesday, September 2.
