With the biggest stars in entertainment in the same room at the 2013 Met Gala, Kanye West reigned as the top celebrity. Before the event, Kanye appeared happier than usual while standing next to a very pregnant Kim Kardashian on the red carpet.
During the actual gala, Kanye West was the headlining act. According to reports, Kanye West performed songs from his new album yet to be titled.
While dressed in all-black and sporting a mask, he yelled, “I Am God.” It will possibly be the first single released from his new album. Kanye West also took a moment to defend Kim Kardashian while holding the mic.
According to a Tweet by Coco Rocha, Kanye West said, “Kim don’t worry what anyone says, you’re awesome!”
Several media outlets have commented on Kanye West’s presumed unhappiness since Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy. But Kanye’s statement at the Met Gala proves that he’s still in love with the woman who carries his first child.
There have also been reports of a possible wedding soon.
