Foxy Brown was thrown a legal bone when a judge dismissed charges against the rapper for allegedly mooning her neighbor. But now Brown’s lawyer, Salvatore Strazzullo, claims that he plans to sue the city of New York for the hefty sum of $100 million.
According to the New York Post, Strazzullo plans to file a lawsuit against “the ADA’s office” due to their “malicious” treatment of Brown throughout her latest legal drama, claiming that prosecutors unnecessarily went after the rapper.
“With school budgets cut, they had the audacity” to file charges, Strazzullo said. “Do we want our tax dollars going for this?”
However, a rep for New York’s Corporation Counsel claims that they “have not seen any legal papers.” Another legal expert weighed in Strazzullo’s claims, noting that all assistant district attorney’s have “absolute immunity” from being personally prosecuted and that the city would likely move for immediate dismissal if the lawsuit is filed.
Considering Brown’s seemingly never-ending list of legal dramas, perhaps she should just take this one win and move on to fight another day. –nicholas robinson
