T.I. is throwing himself a welcome home brunch to celebrate the end of his 11-month prison sentence. Most rappers who are fresh out of the clink would typically want to have a grandiose and lavish welcome home party for their return home, but newly free rapper T.I. is thinking more upscale when it comes to his welcome home affair.
According to TMZ, T.I.’s brunch will happen on Sunday, Oct. 2, just two days after his release from an Atlanta halfway house.
Though the event shows a more distinguished side to T.I., the rapper is giving his brunch a lively twist with some help from his good pal, hip-hop mogul Diddy, who is personally shipping in 150 bottles of his own Ciroc vodka, one for each person in attendance.
The luxe treatment doesn’t stop there. T.I. is also spending $20,000 on food alone and an additional $8,000 on dessert, bringing the grand total for the event to somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000. Not too shabby for a man fresh out of prison.
And to top it all off, reps from T.I.’s clothing line, AKOO, will be in attendance at the brunch to custom-tailor clothing items for the VIP guests.
Clearly, the “King of the South” knows how to bring it on back to his kingdom with a little swag and class.
