Ray J Hospitalized After Billboard Awards

After getting into an altercation with the family of Whitney Houston this weekend, Ray J was taken to a nearby Las Vegas hospital. As previously reported Ray J, 31, was asked by Pat Houston to relinquish his seat at the Billboard Awards and refused. When police and security became involved however, Pat backed down so the singer wouldn’t cause a scene.

While things didn’t get physical between J and the Houstons, the singer was said to be physically exhausted and had to be hospitalized for his condition. According to TMZ, a friend of the singer went to his hotel room to check on him Monday, and realized the singer was “out of it” and couldn’t get out of bed. After noting that he was “extremely disoriented,” Ray J was taken to a hospital by ambulance. He remains hospitalized.

Sources tell TMZ that a combination of exhaustion and dehydration are to blame in part due to a 32-hour round-trip  flight to China before Ray J drove four hours to attend Sunday’s awards program.
