Cult movie legend Michael Ansara, 91, died at his home in Calabasas, Calif. according to a family spokesperson. The Syrian-born actor, who was once married to “I Dream of Jeannie” star Barbara Eden, was most famous for his role as the evil Klingon leader Kang on the original Star Trek and was one of the few actors to continue that role in reincarnations of the series: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.
He suffered with Alzheimer’s Disease. Ansara was predeceased by his son, Matthew, with ex-wife Eden. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beverly Kushida.
