There are looming doubts that Chris Bosh will join his team in Game 3 against the New York Knicks tonight now that his wife has given birth to their son. The NBA baller rushed to Miami Wednesday to be with his wife Adrienne who went into labor with their first child. Documenting the ordeal via social media, the new mother posted a picture of her Miami Heat hubby boarding a jet on Instagram with the caption; “Thank God for private flights…Hurry home Baby :).” She later took to Twitter to announce the birth of their baby saying, “From a Dream, To a Thought, To Reality, To being in our Arms 🙂 Thank you all for the Positive wishes & thoughts!”
Chris, who has a 2-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, wore a beeper this week in preparation for the birth. Earlier this week he assured reporters that he’d leave at the drop of the dime once his wife went into labor. “When it goes off, I’ll be ready,” he said. “We’ll see what happens, man, just waiting.”
The Heat are scheduled for Game 3 against the Knicks tonight, Thursday, May 3 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. On Monday, April 30, Knicks player Amare Stoudemire swung at the wall near an emergency fire extinguisher and sliced his hand. He is not expected to play in tonight’s game. –danielle canada
