Former Atlanta Falcons star Chuck Smith caused quite the ruckus recently on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” when he claimed that, during his NFL prime, he was sleeping with Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks at the same time and that they were a part of his “team” of women that he strung along while he was a bachelor. Now, after being bashed by Parks and Burruss, Smith has been bashed by their co-star, Porsha Williams, who says Smith was dead wrong for saying such harsh things about her cast mates.
“I just feel like women when they’re in a relationship with anybody, athletes whoever, we view it one way and it’s just sad when you find out the man viewed it another way,” Williams said in an interview with RadarOnline.com. “I hate that he looks at them as a notch on his belt. Those are two successful women and he still feels that way.”
Speaking specifically about Smith’s comments on Parks, in which he told her that he she was nothing more than a sex buddy, Williams says that Smith was disrespectful to all women, including his wife, for the things he said to Parks.
“I thought it was disgusting,” Williams said. “Even if that’s how he felt then, you’re supposed to grow as a person. So you would think him being a grown man with a wife and kids now, he would know better than to say something like that to a mother and wife, so I didn’t like seeing that. It was uncomfortable.”
Smith also claimed that he strung along Burruss to use her for sex too. He also claimed that she was “sleeping with multiple men” while he was sleeping with her.
“I just thought it was embarrassing,” Williams explained. “That was embarrassing for him to talk about somebody like that who’s not even there to defend themselves.”
Williams then implied that the controversy may not be over with just yet.
“Well you know how Housewives is: They [Kandi and Phaedra] will definitely have the opportunity to deal with that,” Williams said.
Well, we’ll just have to wait and see how this scandal resolves itself. But considering how explosive things are already going to get next episode, we can’t imagine how much more drama the ladies can take this season. – nicholas robinson
