Hip-Hop’s most flamboyant prima donna, Nicki Minaj, has charmed the masses with her bizarre multiple personas and zany vocal gymnastics. And now the Young money emcee is putting her theatrical skills to use as the last addition to the cast of the 3D computer-animated flick, Ice Age: Continental Drift.
According to Variety, Minaj, “The View” co-host Joy Behar and comedian JB Smoove were announced as the newest cast members yesterday Aug. 4, joining an all-star cast which includes Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Jennifer Lopez, John Leguizamo, Wanda Sykes, Aziz Ansari, KeKe Palmer.
Minaj will also be joined by her Young Money label mate, Drake, who was announced as an upcoming cast member in April.
Like Drake, Minaj certainly has the experience to carry her as-yet-unnamed role in her feature film debut. The Pink Friday rapper graduated from the famous LaGuardia High School of Music & Art & Performing Arts, where she majored in drama, fine tuning the skills that would later help her morph into a variety of notable characters, both on wax and in video.
