Robin Thicke was asked to relive his controversial MTV VMA performance with Miley Cyrus as he sat down with Oprah for her series “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” While we’ve already heard from Thicke’s wife Paula Patton on Miley Cyrus, as well as a few miniature extras admit that the entire performance was planned and rehearsed, it has been said that the “Blurred Lines” singer is claiming to be an innocent bystander to Cyrus’ antics.
Thicke explains, “I was on stage. I didn’t see it. So to me, I’m walking out towards Miley [and] I’m not thinking sex. I’m thinking fun, you know? I mean her and I don’t have that kind of – You have to remember, I’m singing my butt off. I’m sitting there. I’m looking up at the sky, and I’m not really paying attention to all that.”
Talk about throwing someone under the bus! Will you be tuning in?
