Nicki Minaj is taking her Young Money Princess persona to new heights, now that she’s starring in a global ad campaign for a popular soda brand. Minaj, 28, is one of the new faces of Pepsi’s ‘Live For Now’ campaign aimed at getting Pepsi fans worldwide to capture the excitement of now – a mind-set that’s said to be at the core of the brand’s DNA.
Late Sunday, May 6, Minaj’s ‘Live For Now’ spot was released featuring a remix of her Pink Friday hit “Moment For Life.” In the new ad, a young couple freezes time and travels around the world all while holding the ice cold beverage in their hands. The commercial ends at a Nicki Minaj concert where the pair learn to ‘Live For Now’ during her performance.
Along with the ad, the company released a statement saying, “Imagine all that’s happening right NOW around the world. Then imagine if you could experience it all at once. Pepsi and Nicki Minaj invite everyone to LIVE FOR NOW.”
Minaj is just one of many that will be featured in Pepsi’s ‘Live For Now’ TV, radio, cinema and social media platforms.
