Steve Harvey continues to catch flack due to President Donald Trump. A few months following his controversial visit to Trump at the Trump Towers, Harvey decided to give advice to Snoop Dogg, Bow Wow, and T.I.

Harvey shared his comments during his radio show after Snoop Dogg shot a toy gun at Trump’s doppelgänger in a music video. Trump eventually responded on Twitter and called for Snoop to be jailed for his art. Bow Wow and T.I. blasted Trump for going after Snoop.

Harvey warned the rappers by saying, “I love Snoop. Bow Wow, always respectful and cordial with one another, me and T.I. I don’t have no problem with T.I. I love the dude. I’m just saying brothers be smart. You gotta be smart man. All y’all talking got money. You got money, man. You got money and they know how to go after that money. Just be smart, let me tell ya man, leave the first lady out of this. Y’all going down another path with these cats now. You start messing with they wives. I’ll tell y’all you going down another path.”

T.I. responded to Harvey on Instagram by saying, “We respect those who respect US. We respect those who respect themselves. Emergency message to you my brother…#GetOut.” T.I. alluded to the movie Get Out which has a theme of Blacks who are put in the “sunken place” after being hypnotized.

Steve Harvey continues to be ridiculed on social media.

      1. Yep, I think he also tried blocking his part in the Ocean’s movies. he was always jealous of the love Bernie got. Then pretended to be grief-stricken after his death.

        1. I was paid 104000 dollars last year by doing an internet based task furthermore I was able to do it by working in my own time for several hours on a regular basis. I applied job opportunity I found on the web and so I am thrilled that I was able to earn such decent money. It is seriously newbie-friendly and I’m so grateful that I discovered out regarding it. Look into what I do… http://s.id/1W1

  1. Why isnt Steve trying to UNITE brothers… encourage group economics? Why divide… and be divisive… Go sit down and keep making money for that wife of yours and her kids to spend on clothes

          1. hate? no hate….. just a bit of truth serum… Harvey is promoting hate and division among black men and cooning for EVIL…. rather than unite brothers and promote group economics…. and Im not from Europe or European sweety

          2. That’s somewhat I’m implying by the selfishness of the line from SNOOP’s song. We’ll have to be concerned with more than ours’ and others’ money to effect some UNITY.

  2. every since donald trump help steve get back in the graces of the ms universe pageant he has been acting uncle tomish and slave like , i mean why cant he see he has to support the black communitie , trump will never invite him to the white house he can just for get it , and trump being a reality star castaway means he is theatrical and will always seek out exposure , and drama wasnt that what he was on a pprenctice ? drama after drama he was the king of it .. i swear he learned nothing … and his radio show will hit a low if he dont quit them white folks gonna still watch him , ever notice his audience??? not a lot of blacks huh

  3. 1: What did Obama do for black people, except for being black himself, while in office? Nothing

2: How has Trump made their lives worse in the first 70-days in office? He hasn’t

3: What did Trump personally do to them, besides being white, for them to show disrespect?

4: Rappers should not speak about respect…or being respected… when they objective women, talk about killing cops, romanticize violence, drugs and rape in their “art” and call women bitches and ho’s

5: Racism exists because MOST black people will not let it go…build a bridge, move on and be better than the ignorant, stupid white people that are racist. Eventually, people will stop listening to them but that will never happen while you keep bitching and make it worse. BE THE BETTER HUMAN- let them look like the assholes because they are- don’t give them ammo or justify their stupidity by being stupid yourselves.

We all bleed the same…so stop acting different.

And before you blast me…just answer the fking question….

What did Obama do for you to be respected and what has trump done to YOU to be disrespected?

Nothing covers both. Move on…you have BETTER things to do.

        1. 45 accomplishments so far

    1. Are you for real ! Racism is how we got here ! Look white people and Steve Harvey we can’t say what we want , were where you when the black first lady was called and ape, nigger he man , transvestite, homosexual You didn’t say nothing then don’t say anything now period don’t be selective call out all wrongs ! And Steve Harvey white people love you ! But you kiss your black card goodbye with me and if Michelle Obama posed nude she would be calked a ape 15 of a human naked ! By the folks who telling everybody give Trump a chance ! Sad sad Steve tapped the Trump white house Kool aid lol

      1. Marcus…

Racism is wrong in any form, however to ignore where we are today and still cry racism no longer flies. Black rappers, black movie stars, black singers, black sports athletes are making millions. Those that are not famous have the same opportunities to get good jobs and make good money. Affirmative action was instituted to be fair in the work place.

There are millions of opportunities to level the playing field now…as it should be for people to be treated as equals.

Racism is ignorant entitled white idiots at war with ignorant entitled black idiots…period.

Does racism still exist? Yes…and it shouldn’t at all.

Where? Mostly in poor communities, inner cities where those that live there do not take the opportunities that are now present. They drop out of school…sell drugs..join gangs etc.

Not every cop is bad…but there are those that need to be removed…racism exists because BOTH sides allow it. It’s not the one way street either side wants each side to believe.

I asked two questions that no one here has answered…except to insult or deflect.

        1. What did Obama do the for black race as a president to make your life better and for him to earn the respect of the black community? What laws did he pass to make it better for you…what laws did he pass to give you more money?

2: What has Trump done in his first 70 days to make life harder for the black community? What laws has he passed thus far to make lives harder for the black community? What has he done to take money from your pocket?

My point is this…Trump has done nothing to harm the black community yet (as President) and yet he is hated because he is white..that is a fact. That is racism.

Obama did NOTHING to help the black community over the course of 8 years…he did not put more money in your pocket…he did nothing to stop police violence against the black community…yet he is respected by the black community because he is black. That is also racism…and also a fact.

Racism is not one way..and not isolated to one race.

T.I says “we respect those that respect us”…I see no respect…from either side…when it comes to racism.

        1. “Does racism still exist? Yes…and it shouldn’t at all. Where? Mostly in poor communities, inner cities where those that live there do not take the opportunities that are now present.” You cannot be that imprudent to believe that racism mostly exist in poor communities? I have never in my entire life met a racist person from a poor community. However, I have met racist people from privileged communities.

          1. With all due respect…you have not been to every community have you?

I have met racist black people, racist white people…racist Koreans…racist Muslims…Racist Baptists…rich and poor…middle class and otherwise.

Racism lives in all people…rich and poor…color and religion.

When you learn this…you can deal with it better

          2. You are incapable of an intelligent debate and are a disgrace to your race…you are just as racist as those you rail against because you ASSUME things about me…when you know nothing.

          3. I’ve met people from all walks of life. I’ve traveled to different countries. So for you to comment that racism exists mostly in “poor communities” is absolutely unfounded and ridiculous. Please take your blindfold off and then you will see more clearly.

        2. Racism exists all over not just in inner city communities, TRY to use accurate wording, because not all who live in poor neighborhoods drop out of school, sell drugs, or join gangs…. racism exists in the lives of those who are anti-Obama and get caught in motels with young boys, or those who recant statements they made regarding other races, or police officers who are killing people of color unjustly. RACISM EXIST period

        3. “Racism is wrong in any form, however to ignore where we are today and still cry racism no longer flies. Black rappers, black movie stars, black singers, black sports athletes are making millions. Those that are not famous have the same opportunities to get good jobs and make good money. Affirmative action was instituted to be fair in the work place.
There are millions of opportunities to level the playing field now…as it should be for people to be treated as equals.”

You must come from the upper echelon of blacks in this country to think that because we have black entertainers and sports figures we have “arrived”! Those that are not famous DO NOT have the same opportunities to get good jobs! Most blacks DID NOT benefit from affirmative action! If you think racism does not exist in the workplace, you are simply deluded! Or you are very young. Many reliable studies have been done showing the disparity in the treatment and opportunities available to blacks versus to whites.

Are you a white troll? Those guys love going on black sites and posts to spew their ignorant nonsense! If you aren’t, all I can say is wow…

          1. I am WHITE thank you…I don’t think my race is perfect…nor is yours…nor is any…racism is NOT OWNED by anyone..and no one is immune to it…ALL races practice is and NO ONE has a monopoly on it.

      2. stop talking to this person – no need to waste time on ignorance. This person could care less about African Americans, kids, elderly, human rights or anything else that make the world a decent place. Let him/her stay in their dark, bitter and lonely place. Basically say Bye Felicia

          1. Oh I know you – and what revelation you do you think you have about who you are, lol- you are a coon also? No surprise there- white or black you sir/lady are a bitter dried up hateful coon. Yes, I heard and seen you many times – believe me I know you!

          2. I have seen your posts before..and the one thing I know is that you don’t know jack. You are an angry, entitled black person that things they are better than everyone else and that you are a victim and have this plight. You have not gone through an OUNCE of what your ancestors did…and are not qualified to speak for them because you are intolerent yourself…your posts prove you are a hypocrite.

          3. You are 45 right?? Always trolling under some alias profile to make yourself look & sound great again! What Obama did was show every black little boy & girl that one day they TOO can be a REAL President of the United States! The true LEADER of the FREE WORLD! POTUS!! What he did was show ALL Black people to stay focus & keep our eye on the prize cause white supremacy is alive & well & in the form of republicans who blocked him at every turn but COULD NOT not shackle him down! What Obama era has taught us all is that the fight not over until black people say it’s over! And what he signaled was Black is BEAUTIFUL, BLACK FAMILY is BEAUTIFUL, COURAGEOUS, POWERFUL & PROUD!!! So you & others like you can NOT ever DETERMINE our WORTH!

          4. Whites get food stamps AND public aid as much, or more, than blacks. That’s a myth that truly needs to die! Just like the one that only blacks do drugs! Like you said to jsing, “You are an angry, entitled WHITE person that thinks they are better than everyone else…” Every comment you have made on this post shows that you think you are better than black people.

          5. Surely we’re not dragging out this tired old “White people get more food stamps” garbage again?

Let’s look at the numbers instead of just saying things.

Population counts according to the 2010 US census:
White only – 72% of population (223.6 million)
Black only – 13% of population (38.9 million)

SNAP Recipients according to the Huffington Post:
Total number of recipients in 2014 = 47 million
            White – 40.2% of recipients (40.2% of 47 million = 18.9 million)
            Black – 25.7% of recipients (25.7% of 47 million = 12.1 million)

Therefore, there are about 6 white people for every 1 black person in the US. If you do the math, about 1 in every 12 white people (8.5%) in the US get food stamps, and about 1 in every 3 black people (31%) get food stamps.

So, yes, more white people do get food stamps, but that doesn’t really make a point, does it?

If you wanted to discuss the socio-economic reasons why black people are on food stamps at four times the rate of white people, that would be a viable discussion.

          6. I didn’t bring the subject up! What the hell is your problem? Why don’t address “your” people who are making all these statements instead of harping on comments made by black people in answer to them? Please don’t comment to me anymore. I have neither the desire nor the energy to engage in this crap! Peace to you and yours…

          7. Yes, you did bring the subject up in your post above mine. Just because I debunked your false statement doesn’t mean you get to pretend that you never made it.

          8. Lol! Line up for foodstamps??? On that note of seeing anybody in line for foodstamps…you got me beat! And if you seen them in line then you were already in that same line cthu! So I guess your foodstamps are better than theirs!! The best part of this is 45 & all his supporters keep bashing President Obama is off writing his memoir and not thinking about you racists losers!!!

          9. Yes I am 45…how did you know? You must be 44….because you wrote a lot, liked and bsd your way through it and at the end of the day…still no change.

          10. That’s why 45 busy undoing everything 44 did because he made no change…stop hating! 45 will never ever be on the level of President Obama. Y’all hate the fact that he’s more stronger, more intelligent, more educated & more grown up & lets not forget more liked than that embarrassment of a illegitimate unqualified President you all worship……

    3. Racism exists cause it still exists. And a lot due to the residual and perpetual effects of the construct itself and the sentiments, policies, laws of loooooooong ago. That’s why some people think it’s in the past – cause in a way, it is. But still verrrrry effective, unbeknownst to some.

    4. 1. http://www.blackenterprise.com/featured-stories/president-obamas-positive-track-record-for-helping-african-americans/
      2. #TrumpCare? Millions of people, including Blacks, are going to lose coverage. TrumpCare doesn’t benefit the poor.
      3. You got me there. I don’t know them personally.
      4. Again, won’t disagree, but I’m a fan of the music & recognize it as art form and not something to impersonate or emulate.
      5. Racism exists because White people continuously hold down Black people. Build a bridge? It’s pretty hard to do when you’re continuously attacked, profiled, and murdered for being Black. Tamir Rice was a child minding his own business. Now he’s dead because a cop thought he was a threat. Still, things like this happen: http://www.alternet.org/civil-liberties/8-white-people-who-pointed-guns-police-officers-and-managed-not-get-killed

I appreciate your effort, but until your 8-year old son is walking and minding his own business and a cop pulls up to him and says, “Get off the road or stand in the middle of the street,” you’re just not going to understand what Black people go through. Yes, that happened to my son & I was 10 feet away from him.

        1. I never said they didn’t. None of them are holding a political office that I’m aware of. However, the question was about Trump’s misogyny. Are you ok with Trump’s misogyny?

    5. I was okay with your line of reasoning until I got to #5! Blaming the victims of racism for racism??? That’s a page out of the white supremacy handbook if I ever saw one! OMG!!! Do you really believe that black people are the cause of racism in America–no, the world–and that if we stop demanding equal rights or better treatment racism will go away?!? Wow!

That being said, Steve Harvey was correct in warning the brothers to be careful. We are dealing with a situation unlike anything we have seen: our president is paranoid; he has lots of crazy, racist supporters who are looking for trouble; and the president’s Secret Service takes all threats seriously–and they should; that’s their job! Plus, you don’t say certain things about the president’s wife. Yes, worse was said about Michelle Obama, but that doesn’t absolve anyone of responsibility for their own words and actions! That’s all Steve was trying to say. It has nothing to do with respect the way some people on this post are saying.

One problem I have with my people is our emotional reactions to things. Sometimes we have to stop, reflect, and then speak or act–not feeling we have to go along with the status quo–i.e., with what everyone else says or thinks! I have never done that, and never will. Just because someone does–or does not–agree with a particular person or situation, that does NOT make him/her a “coon.” The word is overused, and most of the people who use it don’t really even know what makes one a coon! Just some shyt to say to appear knowledgeable! A coon could also be seen as one who doesn’t respect other blacks simply they have a difference of opinion! At least, IMHO!

      1. My point was…with respect because your argument is real and based in fact and conveyed intelligently…is that most people deem racism as one sided..and it’s not. It’s not at all. Sometimes, in fact many times, it is instigated by black people themselves just as much as it is by white people.

So many make it seem to be …’I was just innocent, walking along dong nothing and this cop…” It’s not like that in every instance…it’s not like that in MOST instances…the problem is IT IS like that in some…but that’s just it…since it should never happen asll all, just because someone is black…it heightens it.

It’s never going to end as long as both sides breath air…or until we all get that we all are in this together…and bleed the same…etc.

I AM WHITE…and NOT PROUD of those in my race that do things like that…just as I AM SURE that those of you that are black are not proud of what some in your race do…

If you feel as if your race is 100% the victim and the other is 100% to blame, then you, (any of us) are 100% of the problem.

I think people forget that the definition of racism is alienation, indifference or intolerance to any group or race…NOT JUST TOWARDS black people.

        1. The only thing I want to say is you can’t say how often cops confront blacks purely out of a racist mindset, because you will never experience that, so you can never know how it feels, or how often it happens. I have lived with that knowledge all my life. My own son was pulled over while simply driving in his new Chevy SUV, teaching his son how to drive! It happens more than you know; it just isn’t reported most of the time! Peace

          1. That is a legitimate problem, and it needs to be addressed.

However, being blatantly disrespectful toward law enforcement, the President, or society in general is not going to begin addressing this situation, it will only provide legitimization to those who feel that they are justified in being suspicious of black people.

  4. Not that I’m agreeing with Steve Harvey but I think I know what he meant. Maybe he meant Trump has the capabilities of putting the IRS on the rappers for audits and tying up their money in courts. That’s the only thing I think he meant. Again, not taking his side, just wondering if that’s how he meant it.

    1. and in the 50-60 they had the same ability – thankfully Martin and the others didn’t say – ” well they could arrest us, we best be quiet” , ” well they could beat us and spray us with water hoses” Thankfully black folks weren’t to afraid to fight evil. But you and coon steve stay hidden – don’t want you to get hurt in the fight for good

  5. You guys are all idiots. Steve Harvey is just saying to be respectful to the office of president. You all are the racists in this day and age. Wanting and demanding preferential treatment and rules and opportunity, but never giving that equality back. You want separate treatment to benefit you and when it doesn’t, you cry racism.
    What a crock of crap.
Oh, and FYI Steve Harvey meeting with Trump is a good thing to try and bridge the gap the media creates in fueling tensions across all platforms. Bottom line, give it a rest assholes..

    1. you are an idiot – for Eight years Chump disrespected the office as a private citizen – now you say that these private citizens can’t do the same? why would that be? Because they are Black? You get real!

You and coon steve say respect the office – where were you yesterday when the rest of the country found out that the office was tampered with?

Who am I respecting 45 or Putin?

        1. yeah whatever, I know 45 didn’t not respect Pres. Obama by calling him an illegitimate President for 8 years. I know he didn’t respect him by saying he committed a felony wire tapping his phones. I know he didn’t respect women when he grabbed their pussies. I know he didn’t respect those who attended Chump University. Did his mother fail him, or if you agree with him doing this – maybe it is your loser mother who failed – we know she failed to abort.

    2. 45 is a traitor – he is brought and paid for by Putin. I promise you that very soon Russia will invade some place and 45 won’t do a thing. But praise Putin because he is Puttie’s b——itch

    3. GOP disrespect President Obama and the First Lady for 8 years. Again, let me repeat myself – 8 YEARS. Chump disrespect President Obama for saying he’s not a U.S. Citizen. Again, let me repeat myself. Chump DISRESPECT PRESIDENT OBAMA BY SAYING HE’S NOT A U.S. CITIZEN. You and Coon Coon Harvey want black people to respect the office of the president. KISS MY BLACK A** PETER!!!

    4. You are right about what Steve was saying, but you are wrong about us being racists and wanting preferential treatment. Your response is part of the problem, and why many blacks feel the way they do. Whenever we say anything, it’s called “reverse racism”! Typical white person answer. Most of you guys don’t even know what racism is!

  6. Just like Steve Harvey had advice for TI and Snoop, I got advice for Steve. Go somewhere and sit down Bro. How dare you ask a Black man to show respect for a clear bigot. Wake up. Think of how far you could advance our culture if you publicly took the same position as Snoop, albeit in your own way. Why lend your celebrity to a man who is against public education, the environment, voting rights and access to health care? Pretty soon Steve, the audience who put you there will leave you alone. Wake up.

  7. Did he say respect trump or yall with money respect SELF FIRST, read between the lines people, see what they did and still doing to Bill Cosby, dont get into trouble with some of the antics he is speaking of. I beleive is just saying BE WISE, And yes He and countless others mentioned the disrespect of OUR President OBAMA and spoke against as well. YA’LL just be WISE, coal together and see the POWER that BECOME,

    1. What they did to Bill Cosby?

He has admitted to drugging women over time for sex. It is literally in his affidavit. He only denies the rape part…but admits to drugging women?

And I like Cosby…but come on. No one is coming to his defense…and ya gotta wonder why.

  8. @SteveHarveyFM has much in common w/ @SnoopDogg – “Mind on money”. Different views on “law” ” to go after that money”? Can you say DESPOTISM?

  9. Respect for the OFFICE of the Presidency is proper. Some crazy person might try to carry out what they see in a video. Golden Rule should rule.
What I find interesting though is that some Euro-Americans (White people) said a year ago on the internet that a White family could never live in the White House after a Black family’s been in there until it was fumigated or something. And unless I’m reading fake news, sure enough they still haven’t moved in the White House….they just use the offices…sad and ignorant

  10. Taking the high road is what I would do if I were Steve Harvey. I say that because I sat back and watched Obama do that very thing anytime his haters had something to say that was disrespectful. Him and his wife always remained humble regardless of all the hell that was going on around them. Their names were never caught up in scandal or foolishness. I think that what Steve is trying to teach us is how to take the high road.

  11. Message for Rapper Kendrick Lamar: noticed that you called Trump a chump.. let’s be fair about it.. are you just going to give it and not take it? It’s like calling Obama a chimp.. or even calling you a chimp.. if sticks and stones will brake your bones , but words can do no harm? Chump and chimp just words… now can you take it? Chimp? No you can’t.. than don’t call any one a chump… chimp… if you take it back, so will me and my many backers…

  12. First Lady Michelle Obama was called every kind of name…….
Can anyone find ONE post that Steve Harvey in 8 years came to her defense….?

Steve Harvey cheated on his wife…I lost respect for him long time ago..and that goes for any man or woman that cheat on there spouse….Think about this Birds flock together…(CHEATERS)

  13. Steve Harvey, I respect you as an entertainer, that’s a man,who happens to be blackkkkk!! But I feel as a person who walks in similar shoes (black person), you should step back, analyze your comments towards free speech, and thoughts for that matter. You can’t fix the world, nor the people in it.And Trump will not turn you into a surrogate for black ppl.to try and quiet us!!The money you well to do actors ,entertainers, etc. Have, spread the love. We need supply stuff at our boys club in Providence,R.I.,can you help us??If so,we’re located @1 Louisa St.,Prov.RI. Start putting your money where your mouth is!!

  14. WHERE WAS HARVEY WHEN CHRIS ROCK CLOWNED MICHELLE OBAMA….. Saying she wears tracks and would be in the Oval Office with her girlfriends wiggling their necks and talking ghetto?! RACISTS still pull the YouTube video of that concert film to repeat!
