Marvin
Sapp, one of the most celebrated voices in gospel music, says that he
is “not a singer who can preach, but rather a preacher who just happens
to sing.” This album marks Sapp’s return to a “live recording”
environment. The “live” approach enhances the preacher’s effectiveness
as it sidesteps the premeditated quality of the studio. The sound of an
audience applauding Sapp, his band and his vocalists adds intensity to
