Concord Jazz
Cannonball Adderley is a popular alto saxophonist who participated in
landmark jazz recordings such as Kind of Blue early in his career. The
musician is celebrated with this collection of songs by recording
artists such as Terence Blanchard, George Duke, Marcus Miller and Nancy
Wilson. It’s a mostly tepid affair that only partly captures the jazz
artist’s cheery, ebullient style. – forrest green III
