It’s seems Gucci Mane will be leaving the “traphouse” for the Big House. Prosecutors maintain that the controversial Atlanta MC, born Radric Davis, has continuously violated the terms of his probation and failed to complete his community service requirements. More specifically, it’s been noted that Gucci only completed 25 of his required 600 hours and that he has violated his probation by using alcohol, marijuana and ecstasy. Gucci was also cited for driving under the influence, marijuana possession and possession of a weapon by a felon in July.
As a consequence, Gucci must serve the remaining year of his 3 ½ year sentence stemming from an assault charge, in which it was said the artist struck promoter Troy Buffor over the head with a pool cue. Sadly, for Gucci the timing couldn’t be worse. After being released on probation, the star behind “Freaky Gurl,” and “I Know Why” was enjoying his most commercially successful run to date and was gearing the streets for a follow to “Back to the Traphouse, ” as well as a supposed joint album with Shawty Lo. For now, all projects have been put on hold.
