Deconstruction

Keys’ The Death of Adam is probably one of the best albums of the
year, largely because of its consistency. The concept album has become
a lost art in hip-hop, but 88 Keys pulls it off brilliantly here.
Melding humor, provocative production and top-notch lyricism from some
of the game’s best (not most popular), he creates a stellar
narrative about the rise and fall of man courtesy of his primal sexual
inclinations. Kanye West, Phonte and Redman all check-in with humorous,
witty stories and 88 Keys keeps up lyrically, defining him as not only
a stellar producer, but one of hip-hop’s most well-rounded
artists. –boogie
