This entry into After Dark Horrorfest III’s “8 Films To Die For” series is a surprisingly tension-filled and well-made affair. The film’s events are kicked-off by a young man shooting himself in the mouth. From there, more ostensible suicides occur in the same small town, as people who know 18 year-old Lindsay (Elizabeth Rice) die horrific deaths. Lindsay receives help from the mysterious Aidan (Thomas Dekker), who helps her fight off visions of a ghoulish, predatory girl. An interesting story, great acting, superb camera work and cinematography elevate this tale far above expected Horrorfest fare. Here’s a bravo to the dark movie’s cast and crew, especially director Phedon Papamichael.
