The Obama White House continues to get sideswiped by bad news, this time in the form of a sex scandal. One of President Barack Obama’s married advisers has been publicly exposed by his mistress via a series of humungous billboards documenting their extramarital affair.

YaVaughnie Wilkins was so offended that her lover, Charles E. Phillips, would dare reconcile with his wife who filed for divorce in June 2008, that she shelled out big bucks for jumbo-sized billboards exposing their secret relationship. Phillips is a member of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board and the president of the tech conglomerate Oracle Corporation.

Wilkins decided to pay a grand total of $250,000 for three colossal billboards of her and Phillips pictured together after she learned that Phillips was leaving her to return to his wife. There are a total of five billboards depicting the couple in a loving embrace, prominently placed in New York, San Francisco and Atlanta at a cost of $50,000 per billboard.

Phillips was forced to confess to the affair once the billboards were put up, his spokesperson confirmed Thursday. “I had an eight-and-a-half-year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins. The relationship with Ms. Wilkins has since ended, and we both wish each other well,” he said.

Worse, the billboards listed a website, www.charlesphillipsandyavaughniewilkins.com, which detailed their relationship in full. The site has since been taken down. Phillips was described in an Oracle newsletter as an ex-Marine and “family man” who has a wife and 10-year-old son, Chas, The New York Times reported on their site.
